UK Anti-Doping
Protect Your Sport Campaign
As part of the creative team for UK Anti-Doping’s new ‘Protect Your Sport’ campaign, I was tasked to design social media and website content assets for UKAD and other national governing bodies with the aim of encouraging more athletes to report doping within their sports to uphold the integrity of competition. My deliverables included storyboard designs, social media static posts and website imagery.
UKAD specified web content must comply with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines to help with disability inclusion for athletes.
Campaign Performance to Date
UKAD’s Protect Your Sport campaign is a 5 year project, aiming to increase the number of reported cases of doping across all sports in the UK. UKAD saw an increase of reported cases since the launch of this project, starting with just 10 reports per year, to a steady increases YoY since, reaching 211 reports across 30 sports in 2024.
Storyboard Design
We also created an animated video for the campaign. My role on this part of the project was to translate a script to a visual storyboard, as well as provide art direction to the animation team throughout the production of this video. Shorter cuts of this video was posted to UKAD’s social media channels while the full video was used for the reporting page of UKAD’s website.
