British Swimming

British Swimming approached the creative team at Threepipe to design a campaign for the World Para Swimming Championships in London. This encompassed the promotional campaign for ticket sales as well as the identity for the event itself.

As the creative lead for this project, my role was to design the look and feel of the campaign, and provide a creative style guide to the client’s in-house creative team to roll-out competition assets for event use.

Hero Creative

This was the hero creative that served as the base image we used for the identity. With household name Ellie Simmonds at centre stage, the paint strokes aim to bring a sense of movement to the creative. We had accessibility considerations to bear in mind for both digital and print applications due to users with reduced vision requirements being expected to participate and attend the event.

Ticket Sales Campaign Applications

The creative was rolled out and used for advertising across London, promoting the event in public spaces and paid social media applications.

Creative Style Guide

We also wrote a detailed style guide for British Swimming for the creative to be used for the event graphics, providing open design files and instructions on how to use them for artworking.

Event Use

The look and feel was rolled out for event use at the London Aquatic Centre and surrounding Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
